Long Island Wildlife and Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit 501 (3)(C) that provides medical and surgical care to injured wildlife and animal rescues. Medical care and treatment is solely provided by Massapequa Pet Vet.

LIWAR and Pet Vet have dedicated doctors and over ten licensed rehabilitators with experience in treating wildlife and provide their expertise and compassion to injured animals. 

​

We need your help and contributions to continue our mission and goal to provide desperately needed service to those who can't speak for themselves. LIWAR saves hundreds of squirrels, opossums, raccoons, turtles, hawks, falcons, foxes, pigeons, seagulls, geese, ducks, and swans among others annually.
